Message Consent & Opt-In
How participants consent to receive SMS messages from Rallora during campaign registration.
Where participants opt in
Participants opt in on the Rallora website, while registering for a fundraising campaign. Every campaign has its own registration link in this format:
https://ralloraraise.com/join/<campaign-code>
The participant opens the link, finds their name on the campaign roster, and completes the registration form. That form collects their mobile number and shows the SMS consent checkbox below. When they register, their consent is recorded against their participant record along with a timestamp and the version of the consent language they agreed to.
Open a live registration pageThe opt-in step
This is the exact step a participant sees during registration. The consent box is unchecked by default and is not required in order to take part.
Consent language
I agree to receive SMS messages from Rallora related to my fundraising campaign, including campaign setup, reminders, fundraising updates, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of participation.
Required disclosures
- How consent is given
- A participant checks the SMS consent box on the campaign registration form, after entering their mobile number. The box is unchecked by default — it is never pre-ticked — and checking it is optional.
- Message frequency
- Message frequency varies with campaign activity. A participant typically receives no more than a few messages per campaign, such as a setup confirmation, a milestone update, and a reminder before the campaign ends.
- Message & data rates
- Msg & data rates may apply. Rallora does not charge for these messages, but the participant’s mobile carrier may.
- Opting out
- A participant can reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. After opting out, no further SMS messages are sent to that number.
- Getting help
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact info@ralloraraise.com.
- Consent is not a condition
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of participating in a campaign, and is not a condition of any purchase.
- Who sends the messages
- Messages are sent by Rallora on behalf of the participant’s own fundraising campaign. Participants message family, friends and community members they personally know — Rallora is not used for cold outreach or purchased lists.
